Release Notes ndla 2.0

We are pround to present version 2.0 of the ndla source code. The new version has undergone some major revisions, some visible but most of them under the hood. The changes can be devided into two categories:

- scaling (increased numbers of users, complexity of the site structure, workflow in the pruduction cycle) - design (interaction and graphical)

Below is a list of changes since ndla 1.

New features

• New content browser enables flexibility and several new features
• New Quiz module (Test Yourself) running on Javascript. Cache friendly!
• New module for better handling of rekations between people and content (rights etc)
• New module lists content connected with organic groups, providing a "Site map" per group
• New left menu
• All blocks in lift or right column can be expanded and collapsed
• Courses is now a taxonomy and not a slimple lists og organic croups
• Footer can now be exapanded or collapsed
• Usufruct and copyright is now available for all elements used on a node
• Frames surrounding images indicate which function that is attached to the image
• Option to rename the topics tab
• New GREP module, connects to relate.ndla.no
• Option to customize listing of node authors

Bugfixes

• Relations to topics are now "part of topic"
• Related interactive tasks are now listed
• Miner fixes in the twitter block

Known Issues

• Content related to topics are not sorted correctly
